MT4 Live Charts

Once you have opened a demo stocks trading account the next step is to open a Stock chart so as to start stocks trading.

For this stocks trading example let's start with a blank screen on the MT4 stock trading platform interface.

To open a new stock chart from the stocks trading example explained below, click the “File” tab at the top left corner of the MetaTrader 4 stocks trading platform as shown below, then select the option “New Chart”.

After clicking "New Chart" a drop down menu will appear with a list of trading instruments that as a stock trader you can choose which stock chart to open. For example clicking the selection for Stock, clicking Stock will open the stocks trading chart.

The following stock chart will then be opened on the MetaTrader 4 stocks trading platform as shown below.

As a stock trader you can maximize the stock chart as shown below and you can then open stocks trades from the stock charts or you can place technical analysis stock indicators to analyze the stocks price movement.

This is how to open a new stock chart on the stock trading platform. You can open as many stock charts as possible and these will be arranged in the form of chart tabs and you can navigate using these chart tabs as shown below.
