Placing Arrows on Stocks Charts in MT4
The arrows button on the MT4 under the insert menu options is used to draw arrows on the stock charts within the MT4 Stock Trading Platform. The arrow buttons is shown below.
The Following arrows can be drawn on the MetaTrader under this arrow buttons option:
- Thumbs Up
- Thumbs Down
- Arrow Up
- Arrow Down
- Stop Sign
- Check Sign
- Left Stock Price Label
- Right Stock Price Label
Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down Arrows
Thumbs up and thumbs down button can be used on stocks price chart to mark levels where traders can open trades and show levels where traders can close trade. The thumbs up and thumbs down arrows are shown below. As a stock trader to adjust the width, right click on these arrows, select properties and select a different line width.
Arrow Up and Arrow Down Arrows
The arrow up and arrow down arrows are used to show the levels where a stock trader opens a buy stock trade or levels where a stock trader opens a sell stock trade, these arrow buttons are shown below.
Stop Sign and Check Sign
The stop sign and check sign can also be used to mark points where a stock trader opens and closes a trade, for example the image below shows where a stock trader opened a buy stock trade and closed the trade.
Left Stock Price Label and Right Stock Price Label
The Stock Price labels are used to show stock prices on the particular level that these labels are set, the right stocks price label will appear to the right side of the stocks price while the left side will appear to the left side of the stocks price as shown on the stocks trading example explained below.
